Kelli Marlar, DVM

A native of Miami, Florida, Dr. Marlar obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Florida in 2010 and continued her training with a one-year internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Hollywood Animal Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.  After her internship she happily joined our team in August 2011.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA).  Her veterinary interests include General Practice and Surgery with a special interest in Feline Medicine. 

In her previous life, she earned a BS in Physics from Florida International University in 1986 and was an Air Traffic Controller for 19 years at MIA AIFSS in Miami, Florida.  She holds a Private Pilot license and Instrument Rating in single engine airplanes and a scuba diving certificate.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, cats and birds and her hobbies include traveling, cooking and reading.
